Beautiful photos of the Inishowen Peninsula,
Letterkenny and Derry.
This is the most northernly point in Ireland. It's beautiful rocking coastline
is fun to see and climb. Take jackets, for it gets windy on some days as you will hear in this video.
This is a video showing how beautiful the Inishowen Peninsula is, which has for
700 years been known as "O'Dochartaigh Country."
A view of the Grianan and north over Inch Island and Inishowen to the northeast.
Filmed and produced by our good friend Bettina Linke. She has been a crusader
many Irish landmarks and ancient buildings, especially the Grianan of Aileach. I hope to have more pictures that I took
of the Grianan and Bettina during my Nov07 trip up on this site very soon.
This narated video even shows the plaque that the O'Dochartaigh Clann posted near
Doherty Keep in memory of our last Gaelic Chieftain, Cahir O'Dogherty who was killed by the British army during the O'Dochartaigh
Uprising in 1608.
